Job Title: Employment Law Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
The Employment Law Attorney will join the law firm's Employment/Wage & Hour department, focusing on representing employees in cases of illegal treatment related to medical leave, FMLA, discrimination based on race, religion, gender, age, disability, national origin, or pregnancy, sexual harassment, overtime and wage disputes, and executive compensation. The attorney will be responsible for managing cases from inception to conclusion, which includes pre-litigation and trial processes. Key responsibilities include conducting legal research, attending depositions, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court and administrative hearings.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must hold a current Florida law license and possess previous Federal Court experience. A Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of experience in employment law, or a minimum of two years of legal experience with a clear passion for learning employment law. Strong research and analytical skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, are essential. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is also important.

Schedule:
