Latham & Watkins, a top global law firm, is seeking a skilled and highly qualified associate with a minimum of two years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control to join their rapidly expanding Global Antitrust and Competition Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and intellectually curious individual to grow into an exceptional lawyer and be a part of a market-leading team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of antitrust law, excellent writing skills, and would join the 3rd to 5th year associate class.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to partners and senior associates in antitrust litigation and merger control matters
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as briefs, motions, and memoranda
- Analyze and review documents and data related to antitrust matters
- Communicate with clients and other parties involved in the case
- Attend meetings and court hearings as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control
- Strong academic background and law firm experience
- Substantive knowledge of antitrust law
- Excellent writing and communication skills
