Vice President – Counsel (Securitization)

Job Title: Vice President – Counsel (Securitization)
Experience: 3+ years of law firm or in-house experience with both securitization and warehouse lending
Salary: $185,000 - $240,000 annually
Location: New York City, NY

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice to AFS on the structuring and execution of a wide variety of securitized products secured by loans, leases, and receivables.
- Advise AFS on internal and regulatory requirements and assist with credit approvals for new products and transactions.
- Partner with AFS, external and internal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and successful execution.
- Manage ad hoc projects as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- JD or LLM from an accredited US law school.
- Admission to NY bar.
- At least 3+ years of law firm or in-house experience with both securitization and warehouse lending.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with residential and/or commercial mortgage loans.
