Immigration Paralegal - EOIR The candidate will participate in all aspects of our court cases, including assisting in the management of client relationships, case review, analysis, preparation and filing family-based petitions. Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the Immigration Court, BIA and 9th Circuit, when applicable. Communicate with clients and attorneys for the preparation of upcoming Master, Bond, and Individual hearings. Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems to meet both internal and external deadlines. Follow internal office procedures. Make regular updates to our case management system including client information, case tracking information, and client communications. Maintain electronic copy files and documents to support all immigration activity on behalf of clients. Ensure that clients are kept informed on the progress of their cases. Assist attorneys and other team members to manage caseload. Complete assignments and communicate case progress on a weekly basis. Should have 1-2 years of Immigration Law experience. Previous experience with EOIR is required. Knowledge with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications is highly preferred. Experience with Case Management Software, such as Clio and Airtable is required. Spanish skills are preferred.
