Intellectual Property Associate - Technical/ Engineering Focus at Law Firm - Salary Information and Job Description

Overview:

Orrick is seeking highly motivated and skilled associates with two to four years of experience to join our Intellectual Property Litigation team in any of our . offices. The majority of our team is based in Southern California, the Bay Area, and the East Coast. This is a full-time, non-partner attorney position with a regular schedule.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents related to intellectual property matters, including patents and trade secrets
- Work independently and possess strong advocacy skills
- Possess excellent academic credentials and a strong work ethic
- Collaborate with colleagues in a collegial work environment

Qualifications:

- Two to four years of experience in intellectual property matters
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent preferred
- Admission to the State Bar of the office location is required

Salary Information and Benefits:

- Expected salary range of $235,000 to $310,000
