The Center for Children’s Law and Policy (CCLP) offers exciting internship opportunities for law students and graduate students in public policy and communications. Our internships are available during the summer as well as the academic year, giving students the chance to gain valuable work experience while making a meaningful contribution to our projects.

- Applications accepted from law and graduate students for full-time placements of 10 weeks or more
- Gain hands-on experience in juvenile justice, public agency reform, and racial justice
- Attend legislative hearings and conduct research on relevant law and policy issues
- Learn from and network with other organizations in Washington, DC
- Demonstrated interest in legal and policy advocacy for youth in the juvenile justice system preferred
- Strong consideration given to applicants with relevant work experience and coursework
- Excellent research and communication skills required
- Internships are unpaid
