Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) is seeking multiple Housing Stability Attorneys to join their team in Pennsylvania. These full-time, temporary positions are part of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Housing Stability Program, focused on providing safe, stable, and secure housing for low-income individuals in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties. The successful candidates will work in one of five LASP offices and handle a variety of cases related to housing stability. The positions are currently expected to last through September 30, 2025, with the possibility of continued employment after that date.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interview clients and determine eligibility for services
- Conduct legal research and interpret laws and regulations
- Provide advice and counsel to clients
- Prepare legal documents and develop case strategies
- Represent clients in court and before administrative agencies
- Collaborate with external organizations and participate in community education
- Stay up-to-date on legal developments and attend training opportunities
- Abide by professional standards of ethics and practice
- Complete administrative tasks and assist with grant reports
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania or eligible for admission
- At least 2 years of legal experience preferred
- Proficient in word processing, Outlook, case management software, and online legal research
- Passionate about public interest law and serving low-income individuals
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to take on challenging and complex cases
