- Drafts contracts, leads negotiations, and provides legal support and business advice to the Society's Experiences and Campus teams.

- Assists with contract negotiation, venue and speaker agreement contracts, and provides business tax advice.
- Structures, drafts, reviews, and negotiates critical contracts for the Museum of Exploration and other headquarters-related projects.
- Provides ongoing legal support and guidance to Society's Facilities and Security teams.
- Offers legal support and guidance on headquarters regulatory, permitting, licensing, and property tax issues.
- JD with license to practice as an attorney in DC required.
- 6+ years of relevant legal experience, including in the businesses described above and experience in contract negotiation and providing legal guidance to all levels of staff.
- Familiarity with legal issues relating to tax-exempt organizations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive materials.
- Hybrid job designation, requiring two days of work at Base Camp each week.
