Risk Management – Client Matter Lifecycle Clerk (1-3 years)

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; . or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
1-3 years of experience in a large law firm.
2 years’ experience in general accounting practices.
1 year experience with legal and/or electronic billing processes and practices.
Prior experience with Aderant or Elite billing systems.
Experience with Intapp OPEN Intake preferred.

Responsibilities:

Serve as point of contact for billing setup for Partners and legal assistants.
Input and maintain client billing information in accounting database.
Review and verify accuracy of billing setup and documentation.
Communicate with Attorneys, Billing Team, Client Service Specialist, and other staff to support billing information flow.
Ensure compliance with Firm policies and practices.
Assist with special projects and ad hoc reports as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
1-3 years of experience in a large law firm.
2 years’ experience in general accounting practices.
1 year experience with legal and/or electronic billing processes and practices.

Salary Information:

Salary range: $35,000 - $50,000 (depending on experience)
