Responsibilities:
- Support the Fund Finance and/or leveraged finance practices
- Handle secured and unsecured lending transactions, including fund financings, acquisition financings, leveraged finance deals, bridge loans, and other complex domestic and cross-border syndicated and bi-lateral financings
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on fund finance and leverage finance/private credit matters
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and other professionals to deliver high-quality legal services to clients
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm setting
- Strong experience with secured and unsecured lending transactions, particularly in fund finance and leverage finance/private credit
- Excellent academic credentials from a top law school
- Admission to the Bar in the state of Illinois, New York, or North Carolina
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

This position is available in our Chicago office, with the option to work in either Charlotte or New York.
