The Maryland Judiciary is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Law Clerk. The Law Clerk will provide legal support to the Judge and will be responsible for conducting legal research, reviewing motions, drafting memoranda, and attending court proceedings. This is a full-time, at-will position with a salary range of $63,119 to $70,120 for Bar Members and $68,499 for 1st year Appellate Law Clerks.

Essential Functions:
- Conduct legal research and provide up-to-date information to the Judge
- Review motions and court files
- Draft memoranda and revise work product
- Attend court proceedings as requested by the Judge
- Perform various duties based on the level of the court

Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of laws, rules, and court procedures
- Familiarity with general office work and computer software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform legal research and read and understand law-related materials
- Strong writing skills and ability to compose orders and memoranda
