Litigation Paralegal - Alexandria, VA Responsibilities: Calendaring, docketing, correspondence, preparation and editing of pleadings, discovery, filing pleadings with federal and state courts, organizing and managing files, witness interviews, subpoenaing and review of medical records, summarizing depositions, and trial preparation.
Qualifications: Should be a civil litigation paralegal with 3+ years of experience. Experience in medical malpractice and/or auto tort case handling is desired. Must be proficient with DC, Virginia, and Maryland federal and state court filings and procedures. Must be a team player, but also able to work independently, and have excellent people skills, enthusiasm for the task at hand, attention to detail, organization and time management skills, and a good attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management software. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
