The Senior Ad Policy Manager for Advertising Trust Policy at Amazon will play a critical role in driving the development and enforcement of advertising policies and standards to support the company's vision of enhancing the customer experience and generating a positive return on investment for advertising partners. The role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across the world.
Key responsibilities for this position include resolving ad policy escalations, delivering internal training, tracking and analyzing policy activities, and developing new policies and refining existing ones. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an ads regulator, risk management, compliance, or policy enforcement role, along with 5+ years of program or project management experience and 3+ years of experience working with engineering teams. A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel is also required.
This position offers a competitive salary, with pay ranging from $124,600/year to $206,100/year depending on location and experience. Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce advertising policies and standards to support Amazon's vision of enhancing the customer experience and generating a positive return on investment for advertising partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across the world.
- Resolve ad policy escalations and demonstrate excellent judgment and creativity.
- Deliver internal training and ensure training materials are up to date and localized.
- Track, analyze, and report on policy activities.
- Develop new policies, refine existing policies, and establish policy standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an ads regulator, risk management, compliance, or policy enforcement role.
- Minimum of 5 years of program or project management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with engineering teams.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present complex technical and metadata information in a clear and concise manner.
- Master's degree, law degree, or MBA preferred.
- Experience driving engineering projects and working with metrics and data analysis.
- Previous experience in a regulatory position related to digital advertising.
- Familiarity with creative acceptance policies, advertising standards, or a related field.
Salary Information:
- Base pay ranges from $124,600/year to $206,100/year depending on location and experience.
