Community Legal Aid SoCal (CLA SoCal) is seeking dedicated and diverse law students for our 2025 summer law clerk program. With a focus on innovation and holistic client care, our organization provides legal services to low-income individuals in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. As a summer law clerk, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those in our community while gaining valuable experience in your chosen legal field.
Salary Information:
- Minimum summer stipend of $10,000 for 10 weeks of full-time work
- Stipend can be provided by law school, CLA SoCal, or a combination of sources

Department Information:
CLA SoCal offers legal services in a variety of practice areas, including family, housing, health, expungement, immigration, public benefits, consumer defense, domestic violence, seniors, and complex litigation. As a summer law clerk, you will be placed in one of our legal units and work under the direct supervision of an attorney. You will gain in-depth experience in a specific legal area and have the opportunity to be exposed to additional areas if desired.
