Job Responsibilities:
The Attorney - Long Term Health Care Defense Associate will be part of the Employment and Labor practice at a national law firm. The primary responsibilities include:
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
- Preparing for arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
- Practicing nursing home malpractice defense.
- Engaging in various stages of the litigation process.
- Working with key client teams to deliver results for clients and the firm.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for this position should possess:
- A law degree and a license to practice law in New Jersey.
- 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, specifically in taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and preparing for legal proceedings such as arbitrations and trials.
- Experience in nursing home malpractice defense is preferred.
- Effective writing and strategic thinking skills.
