Duties:

  • Support litigation matters related to civil rights, employment law, and public sector liability

  • Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

  • Participate in case strategy meetings and client communications

  • Conduct legal research and case analysis

  • Collaborate with shareholders and associates in preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials

  • Receive ongoing feedback and mentorship toward independent case management

  • Engage in professional development and contribute to team-based initiatives

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of litigation experience in civil defense, employment, or related legal areas

  • Demonstrated interest in professional liability, public entity defense, or employment law

  • Familiarity with Pennsylvania legal procedures and court systems

  • Capacity to work effectively in a structured, team-oriented environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar (active and in good standing)

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency in drafting complex legal documents

  • Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to shifting priorities
