Responsibilities:
- Assist with IRS examinations and appeals
- Prepare penalty abatement requests and private letter ruling relief requests
- Address collection matters
- Perform tax research and draft tax memoranda
- Assist with training programs and thought leadership publications
- Mentor staff
Basic Qualifications:
- JD required
- Passed any state bar exam
- 5+ years of experience
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- or Master’s in Taxation
- Judicial clerkship or other government experience and/or accounting background
- Strong technical tax research skills
- CPA

Salary Information:
- Expected salary range for NYC and California: $85,000 - $150,000
- Salary may vary in other geographies based on market differences
