Legal Assistant – New Haven Office (non-remote)

This role will be based in our New Haven office and will support attorneys working on a variety of litigation, real estate, and corporate matters. Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including word processing, editing, and document management
- Manage multiple assignments, calendars, and deadlines efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients and collaborate with colleagues and staff
- File documents in Connecticut’s State and Federal Courts, with prior Appellate filing experience
- Support multiple attorneys as primary assignments and provide back-up assistance to others as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent word processing and editing skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Team-oriented and customer-service minded
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with LMS+ timekeeping software preferred
- At least 5 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant in a law firm
- Familiarity with document management systems, such as Worldox
