The United Firm La Liga Defensora, APC is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join our premier law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney looking to grow their career and gain valuable experience in a well-established firm. We are open to both Fresno-based attorneys and remote attorneys from Northern and Southern California (., San Jose, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Orange County, Irvine) to handle Fresno cases exclusively.
The Criminal Defense Attorney will be responsible for advising clients on their legal rights, drafting legal documents, attending pretrial hearings, providing strategic counsel, handling court appearances, trials, motions, witness interviews, and conducting legal research. They will also analyze case outcomes using legal precedents, manage a caseload independently, and collaborate with our Criminal Defense Team. Additionally, the attorney will prepare clients for depositions and work with experts to build strong case strategies.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of Criminal Defense experience, including handling complex cases at the federal, state, and local levels. We are looking for a team player who enjoys strategizing and collaborating with others. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills are also a must.
