The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a Senior Assistant Attorney General for our Litigation Unit. This position offers the opportunity to serve as a team leader for attorneys and support staff, as well as handle complex civil litigation cases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent the state in civil proceedings in federal, state, and appellate courts
- Act as a peer reviewer and provide guidance and assistance to team members
- Prepare and file civil actions, conduct civil discovery, and draft and respond to motions and court filings
- Attend hearings, negotiate settlements, and take matters to trial as needed

Requirements:

- Must be a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong legal judgment, research and analysis skills, and ability to understand and communicate complex information and legal issues
- Excellent writing, research, oral advocacy, and proofreading/editing skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Preference may be given to those with experience in complex civil litigation
- Must agree to complete and pass a background investigation
