Job Summary:
KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice. In this role, you will provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations for a variety of clients, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses. You will also have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, utilizing your knowledge and experience in the banking industry to help clients understand, analyze, and respond to complex business opportunities and challenges. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and managing client relationships, managing teams of tax professionals and assistants, and delivering high-quality tax service and advice to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide banking industry knowledge and experience
- Build and manage client relationships
- Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects
- Advise clients and deliver high-quality tax service and advice
- Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
- Bachelor's degree, ., . in taxation, and/or Masters in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
- Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships
- Solid knowledge of ASC 740
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate complex information
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
