Job Responsibilities:
The Construction Defect Associate Attorney will be part of the Construction Litigation Practice at a law firm. The role involves engaging in all phases of insurance defense litigation. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough research and producing well-written legal documents.
- Managing various cases from inception through resolution.
- Engaging in motion practice and discovery processes.
- Handling legal proceedings such as hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Providing defense for property and personal injury claims for both businesses and individuals.
- Working on litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases.
- Collaborating with seasoned attorneys who have significant trial experience.
- Contributing to the achievement of notable defense verdicts and gaining professional recognition.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must have at least one (1) year of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Experience in construction defect cases is preferred.
- Admission to the Nevada Bar is a mandatory requirement.
- The role is open to candidates with substantive litigation experience in any arena, emphasizing the importance of strong research and writing skills.
