Job Summary:
The Pre-Litigation Paralegal at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. works closely with attorneys and other legal team members to manage cases and provide exceptional service to clients. This hybrid position is located at our main office in the vibrant neighborhood of The Hill in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities:
• Manage electronic files in case management system
• Conduct initial file investigations
• Review case information and documentation for Legal Assistant
• Review police reports and follow up on investigations
• Communicate with clients via phone, text, and email
• Communicate with insurance claim handlers
• Collaborate with legal team members (Legal Assistant, Property Damage Specialist, Medical Care Coordinator, Medical Paralegal, Medical Expense Coordinator, Settlement Paralegal and Attorney)
• Request and obtain lost wage documentation
• Prepare files for Attorneys to create demand packages
• Open Cases and upload/maintain documents in AI software (Supio)
• Review provider balances and liens
• Prepare files for Settlement Team to process settlements
• Review and save incoming mail, faxes, and emails
• Prepare files for withdrawal and referral

Qualifications:
• Paralegal with personal injury experience preferred
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in legal research
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Education:
• Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
