General Description:
The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking experienced civil litigation attorneys to join the Civil Actions Bureau as an Assistant State's Attorney (ASA). The ASA will handle a variety of litigation matters representing Cook County officials and employees in their official capacity. The Civil Actions Bureau offers a highly collegial and collaborative work environment with ample opportunities for learning and growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Represent Cook County officials and employees in any kind of action filed against them in their official capacity.
- Practice areas include civil rights and torts claims defense, labor & employment, constitutional claims, medical malpractice defense, and more.
- Handle own case load with support and training from colleagues.
- Emphasis on work-life balance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree and license to practice in the State of Illinois.
