Legal Assistant (In-House Corporate Practice)
Duties: Handling the administrative functions of the department. Coordinating and scheduling travel arrangements, conference calls, and other meetings. Organizing and maintaining files related to various matters. Tracking and coding all expenses related to outside law firms. Communicating with inside and outside customers to gather and consolidate information to convey to the General Counsel. Preparing, revising, and formatting agreements and other documents including proofreading, tracking changes between drafts, and identifying inconsistencies. Under the direction of the General Counsel, compose and review contracts or other documents. Receiving and screening telephone calls and correspondence. Composing and sending written correspondence. Assisting with maintenance of the corporate records and licenses of the Company and its subsidiaries. Completing special projects and other administrative assignments as needed. Other duties as assigned.
