Job Title: Employee Benefits and ERISA Partner
Location: Albany, Boston, Buffalo, New Haven, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse, or Washington DC
Salary Range: $150,000 to $300,000 (plus variable compensation)

****, a leading law firm with nearly 300 attorneys, is seeking a highly qualified partner to join our team and represent sophisticated firm clients in all areas of employee benefits law. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced attorney to practice independently and play a key role in developing and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all areas of employee benefits law, including qualified retirement plan design and compliance, sponsor and fiduciary risk management, benefit plan documentation, health and welfare benefit plans, ERISA claims and dispute resolution, governmental investigations and audits, and Affordable Care Act compliance
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Practice independently in these areas

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the state of practice
- Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing employee benefits law
- Strong knowledge and understanding of employee benefits law and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Portable and growing book of business
- Experience in a reputable law firm

Compensation:
- Base salary range of $150,000 to $300,000 (plus variable compensation)
- Performance- or merit-based bonuses including variable compensation
- Other benefits offered by the firm
