Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead counsel on new product and feature launches
- Provide legal guidance on complex issues, including privacy and regulatory matters
- Offer day-to-day, customer-focused advice
- Collaborate effectively with business, department, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Occasional travel may be required
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in technology and commercial transactions or businesses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working closely with and advising senior executives
- Experience working independently and directly with legal and business partners
- In-house work experience at a technology or internet company
- Experience managing and advising on regulatory inquiries, requests, and compliance

Our compensation is based on the cost of labor in different US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,800/year to $272,500/year, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company and may also offer equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
