In this role, you will be a part of our Financial Services EY EDGE practice, a team of professionals providing dedicated tax technical services to both US and global clients. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, from established institutions to dynamic new entrants. Our EDGE team operates in a technical environment with deep process and service delivery experience that sets us apart in the marketplace.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include delivering and managing tax compliance and consulting work for clients, recognizing and addressing potential issues, and managing client relationships. You will also have the opportunity to lead projects and work independently, while providing guidance and coaching to other team members. Your skills and attributes should include the ability to break down complex tax projects, communicate effectively with clients, and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services or tax services organization in the financial services industry. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of federal income taxation and state and local tax, as well as proficiency in various tax and accounting technologies. A CPA, EA, or law license is also preferred.
At EY, we offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including a base salary range of $103,600 to $189,700 in all geographic locations in the US. For the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the salary range is $124,200 to $215,600. Our Total Rewards package also includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a flexible vacation policy.
