The Employment Law Associate (Midlevel) will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation on a wide range of employment issues for clients of the law firm **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in employment law counseling to join a growing team and play a key role in building the practice. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience in a law firm's Employment Law group and be admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar. They should also have exceptional client service skills, be able to handle a fast-paced practice, and have strong project management and attention to detail. This position offers a competitive salary of $220,000 - $265,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and representation on a wide range of employment issues for clients of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
- Work closely with founders, CEOs, and other executives as they build their careers
- Assist start-ups, businesses, and individuals with all stages of the employee life-cycle
- Draft and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and standard employment documents
- Conduct investigations into workplace misconduct
- Advise employers on best practices and help create a more diverse and inclusive workplace
- Assist high net worth individuals with the hiring and management of personal and household staff
- Manage a large number of competing priorities and maintain attention to detail
- Collaborate with a close-knit, dynamic team and participate in mentoring and training associates
- Work with international employment lawyers and help build a nationwide counseling practice for clients

Qualifications:

- 4-6 years of relevant experience in a law firm's Employment Law group
- Admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar
- Strong academic credentials
- Experience drafting and negotiating compensation arrangements, conducting workplace investigations, and managing employee discipline
- Ability to handle a fast-paced practice and work with clients under time pressure
- Strong project management skills and ability to balance competing priorities
- Attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
- Passion for counseling clients and building a career in employment law
- Desire to work with a diverse client base and collaborate with international employment lawyers
