Responsibilities:
-Support teams in responding to, investigating, managing and resolving high-impact brand-related incidents and escalations around product authenticity and safety issues.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, agencies, and key stakeholders. Cultivate a network of contacts to support the organization's advocacy efforts.
-Collaborate with industry associations, advocacy groups, and coalitions to advance common goals and objectives.
-Build and maintain an effective network in support of E-commerce Brand protection program both internally (. key business representatives, Intellectual Property Legal, public relations, communications, marketing teams), and externally through brand diplomacy, conferences, networking opportunities, workshops, etc.
-Plan and roll out events and activities to promote awareness of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. shopping's Intellectual Property Rights protection program for internal and external stakeholders. While closely monitoring media and global events to anticipate and mitigate potential brand-related risks.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
-Masters degree in political science, public policy, law, or a related field
-Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and external stakeholders
-Previous experience in government relations, public affairs, brand relations or a related field, with a proven track record of successful advocacy efforts
-Analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex policy issues into actionable strategies, proficiency in research and analysis of legislative and regulatory issues, and excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-Understanding of government and agency structures, legislative processes, and Intellectual Property and Brand Protection regulatory frameworks

?For Pay Transparency?Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $125400 - $139333 annually.?
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.?
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).?
