Job Description:
- As an Underwriter, you will evaluate submissions, handle customer requests, and build strong relationships in a dynamic and creative environment.
- You will collaborate with teams across Underwriting, Business Development, Claims, IT, and more to contribute to a unified and effective operation.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching market trends, analyzing competitive information, and supporting product development.
- Mentor and support new underwriters and engage in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite submissions with precision, adhering to guidelines and delegated authority.
- Address quotes, re-quotes, and endorsements with a customer-first mindset, ensuring top-tier service.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive business growth.
- Partner with teams across departments, contributing to a collaborative and effective workplace.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and support product development.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of underwriting experience in Commercial Property & Casualty, Personal, or Management & Professional Liability lines.
- Insurance-related course work (CPCU, RPLU, etc.) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in other insurance roles, financial services, or legal services.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer interactions.
