About the Law Firm:
- Clawson and Staubes law firm located in Daniel Island, SC
- Seeking a highly motivated and organized Litigation Paralegal
- Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys throughout the legal process of a lawsuit
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings and motions
- Answer discovery requests and schedule depositions
- Manage case files and coordinate with clients and opposing counsel
- Update case and client information databases with accuracy
- Track deadlines and communicate progress to attorneys
- File pleadings in State and Federal Court
- Handle administrative and legal tasks to ensure smooth case progression
Qualifications:
- Paralegal Certification preferred
- Familiarity with State Courts, Federal . District Court, and insurance claims process
- Experience with litigation software programs such as TrialWorks, ProLaw, and Tabs
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of litigation paralegal experience
Job Type:
