Responsibilities:

- Prepare, draft, review, and file patent and trademark documents
- Coordinate foreign filings and prepare office action responses
- Assist with docketing functions and maintain IP portfolios
- Communicate and obtain information from attorneys and clients
- Record billable time and maintain accurate records
- Utilize electronic and paper filing systems and maintain transcripts
- Work independently with minimal supervision and manage deadlines
- Collaborate with different offices and working styles
- Prioritize projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned

Experience:

- High school diploma required, college degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
- 5+ years of experience in intellectual property in a law firm or professional services environment
- Proficient in IP docketing software, basic computer applications, and data entry
- Experience with Pattsy (or equivalent), NetDocs (or equivalent), and Microsoft Suite
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
