Overview:
- Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking an attorney to join their Labor & Employment Practice in Walnut Creek, CA.
- This is a regular full-time position in the Attorney category.

Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1-7 years of experience in employment law matters and be admitted to practice in California.
- Prior employment litigation experience is required, preferably on the management side, including handling single plaintiff employment claims, PAGA, Wage & Hour, and FEHA matters.
- Employment counseling or in-house employment law experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- The role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel.
- Responsibilities include drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions.
- Strong writing and analytical skills are required, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- The successful candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
