A law firm located in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Mid-level Litigation Attorney with 4-8 years of experience in commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have significant motion and trial experience, superior written and oral advocacy skills, demonstrated leadership, and a strong academic background. A commitment to exceptional client service is essential. Experience in construction litigation and strong ties to the Valley are preferred. The candidate must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona.

Duties:

  • Handle complex commercial litigation matters, including drafting and arguing motions and managing trial preparations.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Represent clients in court, including making oral arguments and conducting witness examinations.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed legal memoranda and reports.
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to advance case objectives.
  • Manage multiple litigation cases, ensuring all deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
  • Demonstrate leadership within the firm and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
  • Stay current on developments in commercial and construction litigation law and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 4-8 years of experience in commercial litigation, with significant motion and trial experience.
  • Superior written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a strong academic pedigree.
  • Commitment to exceptional client service.
  • Construction litigation experience and strong ties to the Valley are preferred.
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar.
