A law firm based in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a passionate and motivated Bilingual Immigration Attorney to join its dynamic team. This position focuses on providing legal services to immigrants and their families, offering guidance through complex immigration processes with compassion and professionalism. The ideal candidate will work with a diverse caseload, advocate for clients, and contribute to the firm's success through dedicated and creative legal representation.

Duties

• Handle a personal caseload focusing on family-based and humanitarian immigration cases.
• Represent clients in court cases, including immigration hearings and state custody cases for special immigrant juveniles.
• Develop and manage legal strategies for case managers, ensuring quality legal support.
• Conduct thorough legal research and review case filings.
• Meet with clients, providing legal advice, guidance, and solutions to their concerns.
• Prepare clients for key immigration interviews and hearings, representing them as a strong advocate.
• Collaborate with the firm’s management team to support broader firm goals and initiatives.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in New Mexico or another state.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Commitment to client-centered practice with a high standard of service.
• Experience is preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active admission to the Bar in New Mexico or other states.

Skills

• Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
