A law firm seeks a dedicated Real Estate Closing Attorney to join its team in Mount Pleasant, SC. This position is ideal for an attorney with experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the closing process, working with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders, and ensuring seamless execution of real estate deals. A focus on client satisfaction and professionalism is crucial for this role.

Duties:

• Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales, refinances, and lease agreements.
• Review and resolve title issues to ensure clear property ownership for all transactions.
• Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth real estate transactions.
• Draft and review essential loan documents, such as contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase agreements.
• Provide a positive, professional, and engaging experience for clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the process.
• Oversee the review of disbursement ledgers and approve necessary payments.
• Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships to support growth opportunities for the firm.
• Educate clients and provide training on key aspects of real estate law relevant to their transactions.

Requirements:

• Preferred experience in residential real estate transactions, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Must be a member in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive, self-starter mentality with a willingness to engage in community activities and drive results.
• A growth-oriented mindset with a focus on expanding knowledge in residential real estate law.
• Proven strong work ethic, demonstrated in academic achievements and professional history.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active member of the South Carolina State Bar (or eligible for admission).
