In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in one or more of our civil litigation practice areas, including Asbestos/Toxic Tort Defense, Land Use, and Transportation/Trucking Defense. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, advising clients on their legal rights, and developing strategies for defending and litigating cases. You will also gather evidence, conduct research, and represent clients in court and before government agencies. Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and convey complex information are essential for this role. This position requires a minimum of 4-6+ years of experience in the practice of law, with a law degree and a license to practice in Washington state. Additional licenses in Oregon and/or Alaska are a plus. The ability to bill at least 1800 hours annually and strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills are also necessary for this role. Working at our firm may involve occasional travel and/or virtual attendance at depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. Our office environment is typically quiet and professional, with minimal exposure to noise and other factors. The position may allow for partially remote work, but at least 3 days in the office per week are required. The schedule is flexible, with 40+ hours of work per week to attend to client needs. We offer a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $167,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
