A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in general litigation, commercial litigation, and/or orphans court litigation, or other complementary practices that align with the firm's capabilities and goals. Location
Duties
- Represent clients in general litigation, including commercial disputes and orphans court matters.
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Manage case files, interact with clients, and coordinate with opposing counsel.
- Participate in settlement negotiations, mediation, and other forms of dispute resolution.
- Provide legal counsel and advice to clients.
- Handle pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on general litigation, commercial litigation, or orphans court litigation.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in courtroom proceedings and client interactions.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in the state(s) where the position is based.
