Job Overview:

A law firm in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a dedicated Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage matters and will be skilled in reviewing insurance policies, handling claims, and litigating insurance coverage disputes. This role requires a firm grasp of insurance policies and coverage issues, excellent analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with construction insurance coverage and corporate transactional work, which is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze insurance policies and coverage issues.
• Handle insurance claims and manage client relationships throughout the claims process.
• Litigate insurance coverage disputes and represent policyholders in legal matters.
• Draft and negotiate contractual indemnity and insurance provisions.
• Provide legal advice on insurance coverage matters and potential risks.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal documents and briefs.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex cases.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments related to insurance coverage.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in insurance coverage law.
• Demonstrated experience in representing policyholders and handling insurance claims.
• Proven ability to litigate insurance coverage disputes effectively.
• Familiarity with construction insurance coverage and corporate transactional work is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, writing, and overall communication skills.
• Must possess a New York Bar license.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Expertise in insurance policy analysis and coverage issues.
• Effective legal research and drafting skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and cases efficiently.
