FINRA is seeking a Paralegal to provide investigative and legal support to the Enforcement department. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate, strong communication skills, and experience in a legal setting. Proficiency in Lexis/Nexis and Excel is preferred, and experience with other software such as iManage and Summation is a plus. This is a full-time position with normal office conditions. Essential Job Functions: - Conduct legal research for staff attorneys. - Assist with preparing exhibits and sharing them for on-the-record testimony. - Conduct customer interviews and prepare memoranda. - Assist investigators with tasks such as data entry and maintaining case management systems. - Review and summarize transcripts. - Assist with reviewing documents for the Office of Disciplinary Affairs. Other Responsibilities: - Work on special projects as assigned. Education/Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate or significant relevant experience required. - Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency with desktop computers. - Experience in a legal setting preferred. - Proficiency in Lexis/Nexis. - Proficiency in Excel, Access, iManage, and Summation a strong plus.
