Duties

• Handle all stages of litigation, from pre-trial to resolution, including drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and preparing for trial.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their best interests are served throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to strategize and manage caseloads efficiently.
• Maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and properly filed with the court.
• Engage in negotiations to secure favorable settlements for clients.
• Stay current on legal trends and developments in personal injury and insurance defense law.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation and/or insurance defense.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and insurance defense law.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases independently while collaborating with team members when necessary.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York Bar (required).
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar (preferred).
