We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. ## Garfunkel Wild is Looking for a Health Care Compliance Attorney (Associate) Garfunkel Wild, a full-service law firm with offices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida, is looking to hire an experienced health care compliance attorney to join its Investigations, Audits and Regulatory Compliance Practice Group. ### Job Summary The ideal candidate will have a minimum of This includes a working knowledge of the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law. The candidate should have experience analyzing healthcare regulatory, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse issues, handling payor audits, as well as familiarity with health care fraud investigations and electronic discovery. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills are a must. The position will be based in the Great Neck office, but candidates can also work in our Albany, Stamford, Hackensack, and Fort Lauderdale offices. ### Responsibilities The responsibilities of the health care compliance attorney will include, but are not limited to: - Analyzing healthcare regulatory and reimbursement issues - Developing and implementing corporate compliance plans - Researching and responding to payor audits - Advising clients on fraud and abuse matters - Handling electronic discovery - Representing healthcare providers, suppliers, pharmaceutical companies, and other health care entities in matters involving fraud and abuse, government investigations, corporate compliance, and reimbursement ### Qualifications - A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance - Working knowledge of the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law - Experience analyzing healthcare regulatory and reimbursement issues - Experience with payor audits and health care fraud investigations - Strong research, writing, and analytical skills ### Benefits Garfunkel Wild is dedicated to providing our clients with the highest quality legal services.
