Job Overview:

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Mid-Level Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience. Duties:

  • Counsel clients on employment-related issues, including compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Represent clients in single-plaintiff and class/collective action employment litigation.
  • Handle wage and hour disputes, including FLSA claims.
  • Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide written opinions on complex employment law issues.
  • Manage case files, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop legal strategies and provide ongoing advice.
  • Stay current with changes in employment law and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Experience in ERISA litigation is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex employment and wage & hour cases.
  • Superior academic record and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent writing and research skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.

Certifications:

  • State Bar of Georgia certification required.
