The successful candidate will provide legal counsel and representation in complex insurance coverage disputes, working closely with clients to analyze policies, assess liabilities, and develop litigation strategies. Duties

• Advise clients on insurance coverage disputes and provide recommendations on coverage issues.
• Analyze insurance policies and conduct detailed assessments of coverage liabilities and exposures.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies for insurance coverage cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for litigation.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers throughout the legal process.
• Stay current on legal developments and industry trends in insurance law to provide cutting-edge representation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana Bar.
• At least 5 years of experience practicing insurance coverage law.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance law, coverage issues, and policy interpretation.
• Proven experience in handling complex insurance coverage litigation matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop effective legal strategies.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in Louisiana.
