Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A distinguished law firm specializing in business and general aviation law seeks a meticulous and organized Associate Attorney. This role involves handling contract and regulatory matters in a fast-paced environment and requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication capabilities. Duties:

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and related legal documents.
• Conduct regulatory and tax research pertinent to aviation law and associated practices.
• Draft, examine, and organize closing documents for transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate handling of documentation and compliance with legal standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients for successful outcomes.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri or the ability to obtain licenses in these states within one year.
• Previous experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with or training in federal tax law is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• License to practice law in Kansas and Missouri (or commitment to obtaining within one year).
