Duties:

  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications, including drafting and filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Conduct thorough patentability assessments and provide detailed clearance opinions.
  • Manage patent portfolios, ensuring proper maintenance, timely renewals, and strategic management.
  • Negotiate and draft patent licensing agreements and related contracts.
  • Perform due diligence for intellectual property transactions and mergers.
  • Analyze and interpret patent laws and regulations to offer strategic advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, inventors, and colleagues to develop and implement patent strategies.
  • Represent clients in proceedings before the USPTO and other relevant intellectual property authorities.
  • Stay current with developments in patent law and technological advancements.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in patent prosecution and intellectual property law.
  • Demonstrated superior analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Education:

Certifications:
