Job Overview: A law firm seeks a dynamic Estate Planning and Probate Attorney to join their team in Cinnaminson, NJ. Duties:

  • Represent clients in legal proceedings in both New Jersey’s Chancery Division and Law Division and Pennsylvania’s Register of Wills and Orphan’s Court.
  • Draft and prepare estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, Living Wills, and Guardianship pleadings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal standards and regulations in Elder Law and Estate Planning practices.
  • Manage the administrative and operational aspects of legal practice to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
  • Advise clients on legal and business transactions related to estate and elder law matters.
  • Negotiate settlements in legal disputes when necessary.
  • Lead a team of paralegals and support staff to deliver effective legal services to clients.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of legal experience, with at least 2-3 years of focus in Elder Law and/or Estate Planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to build rapport with clients and communicate complex legal concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and legal case management software.
  • A go-getter mentality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality service.
  • Confidence in personal, phone, and courtroom interactions.
  • Demonstrates empathy and professionalism in dealing with clients during challenging times.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and managing legal documents related to estate planning.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Team-oriented with a cooperative and collaborative approach to work.
  • Knowledge of Amicus Attorney Case Management Software is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple legal cases and meet deadlines.
