Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney with significant experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will handle complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity investments while demonstrating strong analytical skills and business acumen.

Duties:

• Communicate verbally and in writing with clients, lawyers, and business professionals.
• Produce high-quality deliverables and promptly respond to correspondence and phone calls.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all work products while meeting deadlines.
• Cultivate positive relationships within the firm and with external parties.
• Adhere to firm policies and practices, maintaining compliance at all times.
• Engage in passive and active tasks, including extensive computer work, virtual meetings, and conferences.
• Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience advising on private equity transactions.
• Prior experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC environment preferred.
• Admission to practice law in California (CA).
• Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated business judgment and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including persuasive and influential abilities.
• Proficiency in research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking.
• Effective management skills to handle complex legal matters and client relationships.
