Job Overview:
A respected law firm specializing in property insurance litigation is seeking a Property Insurance Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of litigation experience. This position focuses on first-party property insurance disputes, offering opportunities for those with insurance defense or insurance coverage experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling case management, drafting legal documents, and building strong client relationships. Duties:

• Manage all aspects of property insurance litigation cases
• Draft coverage opinions and handle insurance coverage and bad faith litigation
• Prepare and file motions, respond to discovery requests, and take depositions
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
• Conduct legal research and present findings effectively
• Travel as required for case needs

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or insurance coverage
• Strong case management experience
• Excellent legal research, writing, and presentation skills
• Ability to handle depositions, draft motions, and appear in court
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship-building skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active bar admission in one of the states where the firm has an office

Skills:

• Expertise in drafting legal opinions and handling insurance litigation
• Strong research and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in oral and written communication
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
